Youth In Fitness
Over 4 sessions, participants will work 1-on-1 with a certified personal trainer and be educated on the fundamentals of fitness and the correct way to exercise their bodies. Participants will learn how to set realistic training goals, proper set up of cardio/weight training machines and how to develop a structured fitness program. Full participation is required if participants wish to purchase a fitness membership.

Come to Cold Creek and test your skills on our Challenge Course and Rock Climbing Tower! Our professional and well-trained staff will guide beginners and challenge the experienced climbers during a fun-filled afternoon! Pre-registration is required but you can drop in any time between 10am-2pm. Please note closed toe shoes must be worn to climb and all climbers must be 7 years of age or older to participate.

Virtual Intro to Mindfulness Workshop
Mindfulness is a growing trend with many health benefits, but where do you start? This workshop will teach you different techniques and give you a chance to experience them to see which is the best fit for you. Styles include breath work, body awareness, heart-focused, affirmations and yoga nidra. Perfect for anyone new to meditation or those looking to try a new technique. There will be breaks to learn and ask questions. This session will finish with a long "yoga nap".

Step at a Time
This one-hour program is designed to promote physical activity and well-being for older adults to maintain and enjoy their day-to-day activities and quality of life. The program components include cardio-respiratory endurance, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and balance. These can be used by both high mobility or low mobility older adults to enhance or meet individual goals of functional mobility. The program can also have a positive impact on individuals who are living with arthritis, diabetes or cardiovascular disease. A typical class will include half an hour of low impact cardio, including a warm up and cool down. The second half of the hour will be spent on balance and muscle training using TheraBands, body weight, flexibility and stretching. The classes are set to music with the goal of getting fit while having fun. All participants will receive their own exercise band.

Holiday Stress Reduction Meditation Workshop (Virtual)
The holidays can be a hectic time of year with less energy to get everything done as hours of daylight get shorter. This workshop will teach you techniques taken from traditional meditation practices, yoga and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) to manage stress, unwind and re-energize this holiday season. There will be opportunities to experience meditation, relaxation practices and discussion. You will finish feeling calm and revitalized!
